You'll enjoy Clara's life story. She was born in Sublette, Kansas, a small town 50 miles southwest of Dodge City. Her mother and father met while her mother was teaching in a small country school in the Sublette area. Darry was born in 1933 in a sod house, nine miles from the nearest town which was Arnold, Nebraska! Upon graduation from Arnold high School at the tender age of barely sixteen, he attended Bethany Peniel College for three semesters, then two years in the U.S. Army! He has been married to his wife, Dolores for nearly 50 years. They have one son, Robert, and four grandchildren! He and Dolores have been members of the Church of the Nazarene in San Pedro, California, Salina, Kansas and currently at College Church in Olathe, Kansas! The Weber's live in Grandview, Missouri.

Dave lives with his wife Virginia in Olathe, Kansas. He's a native of Minnesota but wound up graduating from high school in Lincoln, Nebraska where he met and married Virginia. He owns the David Baty Sharpening Service and is heart-deep in College Church, with the choir, Singing Churchmen and His Fellowship Class. He and Virginia have 5 children, 13 grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren, like about ten.

After graduating from Rothsay, Minnesota high school, Esther worked for Western Union Telegraph Co. in Los Angeles. Can you imagine going from Rothsay to Los Angeles? That's where she met Jim which is a story in itself. It was love at first sight for both of them at a roller skating rink. After Jim was discharged from the Navy and Esther's detail was complete with Western Union, they were married at her parent's farm home in Rothsay. They moved to Jim's home in Richmond, Virginia to live. Jim went back to the railroad yard office where he worked while going to high school and Esther went back to work for Western Union.

Evelyn and her husband Malcolm have three daughters, two granddaughters, and one great grandson. They have been married for 62 years. For about 20 years she was a pastor's wife serving along with Malcolm in several local churches. She also traveled with Malcolm for about 10 years with World Vision. They make their home in Olathe, Kansas and are heart-deep in College Church.

My wife Esther and I live in Olathe Kansas. We moved here from Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1989. We retired from our jobs, I from ADT Security Systems and Esther from the Computer Science Corp. We came here because our oldest daughter Lyn became a widow when Michael Parks died at age 33 leaving two boys, Jason is now 26 and Ethan 24. Lyn remarried in 1991 to Jim Fastnacht. We have three other children, Larry, Cindy and Beverly. Larry is married to Susan and resides in Elkhart, Indiana, They have two children, Stephanie and Joshua. Cindy is married to Richard Phelps and they reside in Palatine, Illinois. They have two children, Andrew and Erica. Beverly is married to Scott Lewis and they reside in Breaux Bridge, Louisiana They have two boys, Derek and Todd.

Lenore was born and raised in Oklahoma first in Tonkawa then in Blackwell. She was number 8 in a family of eleven. Lenore met her husband Roy (also on this page) at Bethany Peniel College. They married in the summer of 1956 which makes for well over 50 years of marriage. They have four children and eleven grandchildren.

Lenore's best story is Small Town Girl Meets City Slicker. It gives you the feeling of a simple life, at a simple time and the wonderful life on a Christian campus. Click the title.

Image MALCOLM EUDALEY
Not too many swabs were assigned to one ship and stayed assigned to it the duration of the War, but Malcolm was. The USS DuPage was an armed transport ship. She carried everything there was to carry in the Pacific. Ultimately the Kamikaze's beat her up pretty bad, but not bad enough to quit. She was repaired in San Francisco and back out to the Pacific. Malcolm was badly burned in the attack, took 30 days to heal and wound back up on the DuPage.

This is a story worth reading and remembering. Print it off. Forward it to a friend. Don't let this good story go to waste. Attack on the USS DuPage

Roy is a retired educator. His undergraduate degree in Art is from Southern Nazarene University (BNC) where he met his wife Lenore. He received an MSEd degree from Central Missouri State University. Roy and Lenore have four children and eleven grandchildren. They are active members of College Church. Roy is also an active member of the design team that manages this web site.

Roy reminds us it all started in 1450 with John Gutenberg. But this story will give you a fascinating overview of Roy's life which is very interesting. This story points Roy in a certain direction and he is still moving in that direction. Don't miss it! Printing Ink in My Blood
